Through our privately owned quarries in Naxos, direct access to the source and an in-depth knowledge of the deposit allow us to maintain control over the most essential aspects of our production: material selection, quality and consistency.
For more than 40 years, marble has been extracted here bench by bench, with each generation adding its own experience to the knowledge of the mountain.
Direct access to our own quarries gives us an important advantage: the ability to approach each requirement individually and, whenever necessary, to identify within the deposit the material with the appropriate characteristics and dimensions.
We know the marble from its source. We understand its potential. We select the right material for every requirement.
Marble does not begin as a product. It begins within the mountain. True expertise lies in understanding the deposit and recognizing the potential of the material before it is even separated from its natural setting.
Decades of experience, specialized expertise, modern equipment and production flexibility enable us to respond to a wide range of requirements — from the regular supply of small and large marble processing companies to custom orders and highly demanding projects in Greece and international markets.
The quarry has the capability to deliver requirements that extend beyond conventional industry dimensions. A recent example is the extraction of a single section of Naxos Marble measuring 17 × 7 × 7 metres, intended for the creation of a large-scale sculptural work.
This extraction demonstrates both the potential of the deposit itself and our company’s experience and technical capability to respond to exceptional requirements.
Marble blocks are extracted in a variety of sizes and dimensions, according to the character of each bench of the deposit. Every block is numbered, graded and prepared for loading, supplying small and large marble processing companies in Greece and international markets.
Where a project demands it, the same benches can deliver selected pieces of large and special dimensions — up to the recent single extraction of 17 × 7 × 7 metres.
Every stage of extraction — from wire-saw cutting to the handling of each block — is carried out by our experienced teams with modern equipment, observing all necessary safety measures.
